Shakepeare:Found in Translation - Behind the scenes

In this behind the scenes film, the team behind our upcoming documentary Shakespeare: Found in Translation explain how they have approached the making of their film. The final documentary will cover the rehearsal period for Deafinitely Theatre's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which was performed at Shakespeare's Globe in London in June 2014. Here, director Cathy Heffernan and producer Louis Neethling explain how their film aims to capture how the company translated Shakespeare's Old English into British Sign Language. We also see clips from the editing room. This documentary is a Mutt and Jeff Pictures production, while the behind the scenes film was made by director Sam Dore.

Shakespeare: Found in Translation will be on TV and online from Monday 21st July.
